This is a community event to salute and show appreciation to all who are serving or have served in the United States Military and their families for the sacrifices they have made on behalf of our country. This 3rd annual event will be held on Armed Forces Day May 19th, 2012, at Wisconsin Harley-Davidson in Oconomowoc, WI. The not-for-profit, independent committee exists to provide an enjoyable day of celebration for all military personnel, veterans, families, and friends, while offering entertainment, food, beverages, and camaraderie. Additionally, we will be assisting the Fisher House Project of Wisconsin (fisherhousewi.org) with 75% of proceeds going to Fisher House WI with additional 25% going to other local Veterans organizations. This event is open to the public who wish to attend and show appreciation to our service members.
Our Goals:
- Provide an enjoyable family oriented celebration for all veterans, service members, family, and friends.
- Welcome and honor the most recently returned military personnel.
- Provide returning service personnel knowledge and resources through County Veterans Service Officers and other Veterans organizations.
- Raise funds through the business community, raffles, sales at the event, auctions, etc.
- Raise funds to help build the Fisher House of Wisconsin near Milwaukee’s VA Hospital for military families to have a home away from home while their Veteran is in the hospital. fisherhousewi.org
- Donate any remaining funds to help the returning veterans and families in need through charitable veteran’s organizations. Last year we donated to the following organizations:

- Walworth County Veterans Service Office
- Rock County Veterans Service Office
- Council for Performing Arts 9/11 Tribute

- Toys for Tots
